Four months after releasing their latest album, "All Hope is Gone," Slipknot has announced its first tour in four years. The metal-heads from Iowa will kick things off Jan. 23 in St. Paul, MN and hit 30 U.S. cities before winding up the trek in March.
Presales start today (see details in list below) and most public sale tickets will be available starting Dec. 6. Some dates vary though, so be sure to find your city on the list below.
Lead singer Corey Taylor said the tour is a celebration of their 10th anniversary and called opening act Coheed & Cambria a great band that shares a similar "ferocity" with Slipknot.
"All Hope is Gone," was Slipknot's first Number 1 debut on The Billboard 200 chart, so their hopes are high for this tour. Fans will be excited to hear how their sound has evolved after members spent time working with other bands, including Korn, Ministry and Stone Sour.
