We don't know where yet, but Phish will play a three-day music festival over Halloween. A splash page at phish.com urges fans to "Save the Date" for Oct. 30, 31 and Nov. 1. The early money has the shows in Indio, CA, home of the Coachella music festival. Not a bad guess since Phish's past festival style performances have all been outside and in late October, they would be limited to warmer climates. Nothing is officail yet though, so keep watching phish.com to see which states get grayed out on the map on the splash page. Those are apparently the ones eliminated from "contention" as the host.

I desperately want it 2b in the Carrier Dome, Syracuse, NY. 55,000 people can easily fit inside. It's the largest indoor venue in the entire Northeastern U.S. Besides it's also Jon's hometown. Plz do the Dome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The festival is at the Coachella site. The contracts have been signed, and the name is: SAVE THE DATE. It has to do with the eradication of the DATE crop in that area of California. It will be official before Red Rocks.
